Have excel file with two worksheets, each containing a chart. Have powerpoint file with a slide, linked to the chart in the first worksheet in excel

After I clone the slide in powerpoint, I want to point this second slide to the chart in the second worksheet in excel instead of the first worksheet

    How?

    Help much appreciated :)

Im not sure what you are trying to do but have you tried messing with hyperlinks in the animation settings and the timing in powerpoint

Or if you want to dislpay everything in Powerpoint wouldnt that be easier?

I want to use basic MS OLE (Object Linking and Embedding). I have a chart in excel in sheet 1 (all singing and dancing and nicely formatted). I copy the excel sheet to sheet 2 and change the datasource so I now have two nice charts (I have 15 in total)

The charts are calculated and formatted in excel, but need to go into a powerpoint presentation. For this I copy the chart and past the OLE link into powerpoint, so that when the chart changes, the powerpoint presentation changes automatically. I have quite some formatting done in powerpoint to make it fit nicely on the page, etc.

So I want to keep this formatting in powerpoint and not have to re-apply it all 14 times. So I copy the slide in powerpoint and it obviously is also linked to chart 1

Now I want to go into slide 2 and change the link to point to chart 2

In powerpoint I can see the link, but I cannot change it. Is there a way?

I see what you mean now (I Think:rolleyes: ) You need to save it as a theme in Power point but you want it to auto update from the source sheet in Excel.
Thats sounds like some job your working on.
I really dont know. Sorry man - Good luck
