Firefox Extension won't uninstall

    tried to remove some extensions but they don't want to go.

    This item will be uninstalled after you restart Firefox.

    except the extensions are still there and can't be disabled either
    - Paste and Go
    - Auto Copy
    - Copy URL +
    etc.

    Is there any other way of removing them ?
    have been in safe mode
    have tried to install them again
    Windows Firefox 1.0

    some of them may be in a common profile ??
