notebook cover scratched

    my notebook cover got scratched on the way 2 dub on the bus so does anyone know anyone that will repair it, HP won't do it they said contact a local dealer so anyone any ideas?

    any notebook cover is about to get some scratches. they are portable afterall and will suffer some surface scratches from being carried about and being put in different areas!

    cosmetic damage

    you could replace the plastic part - but very hard to get and you would need someone to fit it and there is a small chance they would break some of the plastic lugs doing so - not worth the effort IMHO

    best to keep them in a padded bag

    hide it under a sticker

    capt'n midnight sums it up 110%! definetly not worth either the money or the effort to remove a scratch!

    its more of a dint rather than a scratch, it was in a padded case.

    ya and a bit of body filler might be usefull as well as a welder! :D:D he he :D
