    Anyone know if you can get anything to make your phones work as an intercom ?!? Like a gadget to stik on em or something.

    You could buy a cordless phone set in Argos (most multipacks support free internal calling). You caould also check out an Interlink 1+4 or (4+8 if you have 2 phone lines) from eircom 3G stores. It's a small PBX like you have in an office .. so you could dial 1 for the Kitchen, 2 for the Sitting Room, and have 3 be a baby monitor, etc.
