    hello there,
just wondering when i get my new pc.i was gona get it with just a dvd burner as they copy cdrw aswell.
Will i need a cdrom cdr or dvd,or will the dvd burner be enough. I heard before that some disks (games) dont like one or the other.
I do know it wont have a floppy drive or a modem and thats a fact.

Eh a dvd writer will burn dvds and cds and it will read dvd/r/rw and cd/r/rw too if that's what you're asking.

Just a bit of advice on which DVD-RW to buy if you buy from komplett, which seem to have a few MSI DVD-RW's. I have a MSI Dvd-RW (MSI DR8-P). I am sorry i got it, its seek times are terrible from like when u put in a CD to when it loads up whats on the Cd. It often freezes your My Compouter its so slow finding whats on the Cd. And no this isnt a configuration error i have done. its just slow at speeding up the drive and recognising the Cd...

I wouldnt buy another, it gets on my nerves sometimes, thats why i have bought a new Sony CD-RW 52X to go along with my DVD-RW so i will just use that CD-RW i get for normal CD-ROM use...

Burning wise with the MSI dvd-rw's seem fine though, 1 good thing about em.. Never had 1 problem or crash or error's . Its pretty reliable but just not my cup of tea... I like the colour change though with alot of the MSI dvd'rw ers...

If you want good use for ordinary CD-ROM's or DD-ROMS etc... Get another cheap Sony CD-RW to go along with a DVD-RW , i mean the sony CD-RW Black ) is only 23Euro at komplet..which is what i got and will be alot better for working with loading D's etc...
