Anyone ordered from order247.co.uk before ? They have a Geforce 6800LE (OEM) for 132stg. I can't make out whether they charge for delivery - putting stuff in the basket and selecting Ireland as the destination does not register anything in the 'shipping' field ? Their prices are good but their website does not inspire confidence (e.g no obvious place to email customer support)

    how about ringing them?

    http://www.order247.co.uk/contactus.asp

some companies (overclockers.co.uk come to mind) don't use email due to the large strain it puts on their workforce and abusing of the system.

Are you sure that's Overclockers? I'm fairly sure that they *do* answer e-mails (albeit with a minimal reply), but *don't* answer their telephones. Unless they've changed their setup since my last order in December?

That 6800 LE seems too good to be true. I just ordered the 6600GT thats on special at overclockers.co.uk, and they rejected my credit card for some reason. Cant email them. And I'm pretty sure that it wont be in stock anyway.

The 6600GT at overclockers works out at 228 euros incl. delivery.
The 6800LE at Order247 is 187 euro, and delivery cant be more than 20 euro can it? So thats still only 207 for a better card. Can that be right?

I was deciding on a 6600GT or a 6800LE before xmas, OcUK had an offer on the 6800LE, was about 30 euro more that the 6600GT, so its possible that the deal is real, in the end I decided to go with th 6600GT because of the lack of definitive benchmarks of the 6800LE compared to the 6600GT, and even those that I could find showed them fairly close. That coupled with the fact that the 6600GT gets good reviews everywhere, it is _the_ AGP card atm.

Edit: That said, I did hear that it was possible to unlock extra pipelines on the 6800LE and turn it into a vanilla 6800/6800GT (cant remember which), but it only worked 50% of time, or something.

Yeah, if I cant get the 6600GT by tomorrow, I think I'll try for the 6800LE.
