    Just got this printer and looking for views on anyone who has it

    friend of mine has one, the printing on CD/DVD's is cool! Quality is quite good, ink can drain quickly though, the 4 ink cartridge thing is a marketing tool, it takes 4 cartiridges, at 20quid a pop..still replace them as much as normall cartridges. Its for when the sales person says "The cartiridges are €20" you think, grand, 20 a go...as opposed to a €30 HP cartridge..

    I got the iP5000 just before Christmas and have been really impressed so far. The photos it prints are great quality. It is very fast for printing documents and the CD printing is a nice little extra. Personally I havn't noticed it going through much ink. I've had a Canon before and always found it to be cheaper on cartridges than other printers.
