James Beattie has agreed to join Everton in the morning. This will come as bad news for Dave O Leary as he was hoping to bring him to Aston Villa.

Yeah, the Everton site claims the deal will be done today....

Villa definately need a striker but if if missing out on Beattie means we use the same few bob for Scott Parker I won't mind at all..... We could always loan a striker 'til the summer - Diego Tristan?... who's unhappy at Deportivo La Coruna and wants out. Bellion from United? Owusu from Arsenal?

Scott Parker currently has a broken foot AFAIK so I doubt he will fill evertons needs. He would be a good buy for the future though for any club if he were available. I,m not convinced that Bellion is good enought for the premiership either .

Apologies, I'm a Villa fan. I didn't make that clear......

Parker has a broken metatarsal in his foot. He's out for another 6 weeks. It's the same injury Rooney had when United signed him.....

Villa need several players to help turn them around, amazing run of form lately:

    L D L L L L W L

(After todays fantastic 2-0 loss @ Crystal Palace)
Sometimes it hurts :( 4 points from 8 games, why do they insist on making me cry so much?
