Sky+ switch off in middle of recording/playback

    I was watching a programme on my sky+ and I was recording the simpsons at 20.40 last night when the box just went off and reset it self.
    As a result of this I lost the programme I was recording and had to start playback from the beginning and FF to where i lost it.

    Is this common and what could have caused it? Was there a software update last night? It sure is annoying.

    Same happened here last night. That happens ok when they do a software update. Also they renamed Fox Kids to Jetix last night so maybe that caused the problem.
