... why is the moonwalk called the moonwalk? It would be impossible to walk like that on the moon. The oil-spill-floor walk would surely be a more appropriate name. What was he thinking?

having been to the moon, i can categoricaly say that it is possible to walk like that on the moon.

The dance was originally planned as a superbowl half-time show, at the end of which our once-black muso friend would drop trou and wow the crowd with his shapely buttocks.
He decided that might be a bit too shocking and just went on to molest children* instead.
