Enjoyed the gig more than I thought I would.
Pleasently surprised with the RDS, thought it would be absoloute ****e, but I almost liked it as a venue.

I've seen Snow Patrol in the past and think they're a very medicore live band, but thought they were good this time around. Black and Blue and the second last song they played (don't know the name) were espically good. They also played Batten Down The Hatch aswell which I've never seen before live.

Really wish they'd start playing more old stuff live. New album is mostly crap. Mostly.

most of the fans would only know them from their new album unless there into them enough to go back to their old stuff,
i never head starfighter pilot before and thought that was brill really turned the crowd,
all the same a good gig all round

Aye I know, its a pity for me, but I realise if they did a whole set of old stuff the vast majority of people would be standing there going "Wtf?".

Pity though. Starfighter Pilot is quality though.

I thought they played a pretty good gig, but i hate the RDS as a venue. But apart from that I enjoyed it. I also hoped they would have played some older stuff, but hey!

I also thought that republic of loose were brilliant. :)

Don't like Republic of Loose. Didn't watch them. Snow Patrol were alright. Kinda short set. Sound wasn't great. Liked the hall it was on it though. Like a good version of the point. Black And Blue was probably the best song. Some twats in the crowd.

I didnt like the RDS as a venue(no drink in main hall!). not as good as olympia, vicar st or the point in my opinion. i thought the gig overall was good tho. run, black and blue and last 2 songs were v good. good gig, without being brilliant

and the second last song they played (don't know the name) were espically good.

    post punk progression.

rds is a pants venue, awful sound, drums were bouncing off the back wall terribly.

still a much better gig than the olympia one i was at.

was my fifth time seeing them this year... each time i was part of the best audience so far ;) hehe

Just managed to grab a listen of Post Punk Progression and it does sound similar but not the exact same. Doesn't have the keyboard sound effect in it. Is this the actual version I have or a remix?

Is it possible to get the version they play live?
