seems good.. although I could be almost certain that there would be some complications in the postage.. cos at that price there should be alot of orders!

It's not really much use posting that here considering the seller 'posts to UK only'.

I was gonna go for this but I'm an impatient little bugger so I managed to get one at a not so bad buy it now price of £200 + £10 for shipping. On my crappy back-up phone at the moment and it's pissng me off!

I don't think there's anything suspect about the deal for £138. It's just simple business. They get lots of cash now before they even have the phones giving them more capital to purchase more stuff at even bigger discounted bulk prices! There was another auction (might still be going) offering 20 of these phones for £1700! Now if my calculations are correct one could easily double his or hers money in no time. Can't be hard to shift those phones sure all I'd have to do is bring them all into my office and tell my colleagues to form an orderly queue while I start counting the profits!

Just looked some more at it. Because you wait more than 30 days between payment via PayPal and supposed receipt of the item, you cannot use the PayPal payment protection cover that the buyer has. (up to £500)

UK only usually means that they will post to Ireland too.

Nah that's never usually a problem if you just confirm any difference in shipping costs before bidding or buying. Sure a couple of times I never even bothered at all I just added a few pounds to the UK shipping price and I got the items no questions asked! Also shipping to Ireland should never really be much more than to the UK although there are plenty of cowboy merchants on Ebay who are only more than willing to charge anything from around £30 to ship an item such as a phone!

Personally id stear clear. The guy has private feedback and wont post for over a month. You will have no come back if it dosnt arrive. And this phone is not that great espically for the price, you will probably get it cheaper when people get bored with it and try to sell it on ebay next month.

Still, it's 98% positive feedback, can't be that bad. Although he does seem to have cancelled that auction and replaced it with this more expensive, although seemingly identical, one:

yes his feedback is high but seeing as its private it could be sales of 1c over and over again as far as i remember thats how some con artists on ebay build up their feedback. This could be the time he is going to cash in the account and rip everyone off, personally I think youd be mad to risk it.

Con-Artist .. Steer Clear , any comeback you would have will be exempt on e-bay and paypal as its over a month between payment and shipping .

Plus I was stung by a guy in Peterborough and this looks very like his previous listing ...

This is all fraud. i ordered 20 nokia phones before on ebay and then the guy turned out to be fraud. so if you are dumb then go for the deals like 20 phones for 1700.
if someone gets phones that cheap i would take a few to sell to mates but this could never ever be that cheap.its looksreal but once you pay you cannot get the full refund by paypal as they donot accept fraud. they will only refund some of the total payment as they take their own commison.
