Well under brand name it mentions Q-tec which frankly is enough to put me off. Q-tec make poor quality stuff.

Yop, goto www.svp.co.uk they have very good nec drives atm, the postage is 18euro but order a hundred blank discs and it covers it tbh.

it's been the way for years laddie,

    you pay more for convience.

just look at local spar, centra, local garage all more expensive than a supermarket.

    same goes for electronics

get this {AC 5112} USB2 Only Ext. Storage 5.25" CD/HDD Enclosure http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/acatalog/USB_Devices.html off svp.co.uk for e21.60 and you can put an internal dvd writer into it . you will need usb 2 ports on your computer to write at high speeds .friend uses one and works fine. i would recommend the nec 3520 dvd writer or pioneer 108 ,these are probably the best drives you can get at the moment with good media compatiability .have nec 2500 myself and its a great drive.
