ooops! sowwy!

Although I still dont really think its such a bad thing hehe..........

I have a pair of those 65 euro MAPLINS walkie-talkies, we keep one in the bedroom and one in the living room as most days I have to lie down with a very bad back and its easier than yelling lol..........

Well, I got home xmas eve, at about 3am, after spending a insane 6 hours surronded by about 20 screaming under-10 year olds.........

I collapse on the bed and fall asleep...........
6am, I hear "daddy, its not working! *sob*", now, as a gay couple, we have no kids lol........ this was weird, I thought I was after dreaming it,........ as im about to drift back off, I hear "DADDY!!! Its NOT working! fix it daddeeeee!"............

I suddenly realise this is coming from the walkie talkie beside the bed!!! Somhow it had picked up the signal of another nearby kids xmas gift of some sort..........

By now, Im exhausted, pissed off and very very bloody sore lol......... I pick up the radio, and say into it...........

"This is a message to all the children of the world from the north pole........ This is jamie, santas head elf! Im sorry kids, but santa was killed early this morning when his sleigh collided with an aeroplane over Ireland,.... bits of reindeer are still being found all over dublin!.......I repeat kids, santa clause is dead, there will be no more christmas,....EVER!!...............pause.........now FU<K OFF! People are trying to sleep!"

Just as Im thinkin no-one prolly heard..... I hear....."elf?" down the line..........

yes, i know I could have prolly just switched channels or turned it off, but the sleep addled mind (mine anyways) dont work that way! lol ;0)

So, if you are a parent in the clondalkin area whos son/daughter came in this morning clutching a walkie talkie and sobbing, I am sorry............but only kinda hehe

dats bad. how old roughly was the kid?
u shoulda just made the kid leave u sandwiches on ur doorstep or something or raid its parents drinks cabinet and leave them on ur doorstep.
that kid'll probly remember that 4 a while (like 40 mins until the parents talk it around).
still bad though if the kid was very young.

imagine how tired u were after ur day, then imagine how tired the little kids parents will be after spending a month explainin that the bad man was jokin and the bad man is gone etc. ur a bad man.
