The Irish Times says today that Bertie Ahern is ringing the Turkish Government to try and get them to let the rights go smile.gif talk about debasing yourself.

One possibility might, I stress might, be The Sheds in Clontarf, they had a mad satelite there a couple of years ago, it picked up Channel 5 UK perfectly so I went there to watch Newcastle thrash Dynamo Kiev smile.gif they had a load of other funky Italian sports channels and such, so theres a chance there.

Follow it on the wireless lads. At least RTE can give us radio coverage. I doubt Bertie's pleading will do any good, here does nyone know if they can even show extended highlights on RTE ???
As regards the match, how do yous think we'll get on ? Bit pessimistic myself, unless Quinnie really is OK and Connolly is on song. Thanx be to jaysis Kinsella is back from suspension anyways.
I reckon 1-1 and it'll go to penalty shootout.

If you have a Satelite Dish you tune to Turkish television with this information: Tune to - Eutelsat II F4 @10 deg. East; Frequency 11.178GHz - Polarity Vertical; Audio Subcarrier - 6.60MHz; Antenna Size - 80 to 120cm.

    Nyone understand that ???

The pubs I have heard will be showing are as follows:-

    The Dragon Inn - Tallaght
    The Penny Black - Tallaght
    The Submarine bar - Walkinstown?
The Baggot Inn - Baggot Street (duh)
Rody Bolands - Rathmines (where I'm going)

In all cases these pubs appear to have adjusted their dish. I assume this does not guarantee that the match won't be scrambled. Can anyone else add more pubs to this list or enlighten us on the issue of the scrambling. i.e. if the pub has Star on screen is that a guarantee that it will not be scrambled at 6 p.m. tonight?

Yeah I started reading and seeing as it didnt make much sense I had a quick look at the date.
People must go looking for the oldest threads they can and then bumping them up.
Somebody did it a while back on the games forum.
