Has anyone ever bought anything from www.askrobert.ie???
There appears to be some good prices on the site but the only contact information is an email address - no postal address or phone number. Is it dodgy?

don't know if this helps but doing a whois on askrobert.ie returned that it is owned by a company called Numina Ltd. registered by a Mr. Robert Reid, I did a search with Company Reg Office Numina Ltd. has a registered office of (PM me if ya want the address), they haven't even been in business a year and there web site is crap and its looks doddy, maybe its fine but thats my opinion

Awful website that's for sure... Completely anti-Firefox. :) Menu's practically inaccessible.

I hate that online shop he has. I've seen it used before and I must say it drives me mad. I can't stand using it.

Prices seem good btu that's on the surface. Make sure to find out if they're excluding or including VAT. I don't see it stated. Guess I better try it in IE and see how it goes.

More than likely is ligit. A registered company is a good way to tell. They're not that easy to register over here. :)

Ok well IE is almost as bad. At least the vendor page is accessible. Definately not gotten the hang of asp.

It looks like a clone to me. Either I've come across his supplier before or he's copied the site. (Looking at the vendor layout in particular - I've seen it before)

Since I've already double posted I wont make a 3rd/subsequent post.

As I had suspected the price is ex-VAT. Not as good as it had seemed. Glad my prices are better still. :P

Funny how his security cert seems to be belonged to "www.memorybank.ie".
