Given the attitude around here towrads touts - especially on 'For Sale' isn't ironic that there are google ads for major touts

    I refer to http://www.6nations.co.uk/

Lansdowne Road Rugby tickets at up to £375 sterling - robbing, theiving scum  :(

I don't think that's the issue, boards.ie has a very anti-touting policy, so advertising touts might undermine that message...or something

Same as ads for pr0n coming up, because boardsie is a family site

In adsense you can specify specific urls that you don't want advertising on your site, for instance to prevent your competitors' ads from showing up. Given the breadth of what is discussed here it would be almost impossible to filter out everything objectionable.

£375 for Lansdowne Tickets eh? Wow.

Is that new? I looked last week after someone was complaining about porn ads, and there didn't seem to be a URL filter. Maybe I overlooked it?

If that can be done, we'll do it. Boards isnt a "family site" but we dont like Porn ads either (not exactly work-safe) and we're not too wild about ticket touts either.

    DeV.

Log in to your adsense account, select 'Ad Settings', then click on the 'URL Filter' tab near the top. You can then add a list of URLs you don't want showing up in ads on your site.
