Ok just stumbled into this forum.

This seems a strange thing to do , mostly anything I've written was only read by a specific person it was intended for etc anyways , here goes .
There is a story before this was written, and a story about it being read but Ill not include them but rather let the words say what they say (hopefully) without explanation

Faint Hope.

He visits home
And passing through the hallway
Stops every time
At the notepad by the phone
To see did any one call.

Not any one
but Her.
Waiting
For a conversation they never have.
Looking still to hear words
That are never spoken.

They are distant now
Even when one hand
Envelops the other.
Each hiding from the other
Even in the confines of a bed;
And this because of
Memories.

Not the recollection of so much hurt
But much more the recalling
Of what each wished they might be.

And sad now because they both mourn
The loss of things they never held.

If this is not love what is
