Halo on PC Second level won't load

    Hi
    I have Halo on the PC and only recently started playing it. (Needed to upgrade my system). I just finished the first level (evac off the panet) but the second level won't load. All I get is a static screen showing the ring and some jumping audio! Anyone experience this before or have any ideas how to fix it. If someone had a saved game file for the start of this level that would probably work.
