Starting tomorrow ALDI are selling a selection of DVD's for €8.99.
Looks like there is going to be a few good ones there. Not as cheap as internet retailers but maybe some great stocking fillers :D
They also have a DVD/VHS machine (Tevion) for €169 (I think)

not strange.. they are the same company run by brother... probably not the Same company as in they are owned and run by one person but the brothers compete with each other and so are very similar.. still they are a little too similar so maybe its all just a ploy and no matter which one you go to they both profit :D

    Not exactly

ALDI is run by the Albrecht brothers and is in fact two seperate chains of stores, they initially divided germany between themselves

Theo Albrecht has ALDI Markt in the northern half of germany and Karl Albrecht has ALDI Sud. They have also divided the world between themselves, since apart from Germany no country has both Aldi's.

Aldi in Ireland is Aldi Sud

Hmm... so Albrecht and Schwartz are hardly brothers, I read somewhere that Lidl bosses used to be Aldi managers once.
