I'm going for four months, will be on my own for a while and then with family and pals, so just wondered if anyone had any COOL suggestions for places to go.
I start my travels in Adelaide.

Drink cheap australian beer and hence think like an australian.
Bring back a koala and start a colony in the uk.
And check out all the massive poisonous spiders and snakes.

I just got back from Australia 2 weeks ago.
Sydney is nice, try the blue mountains.
Brisbane is nice, Hervey bay is fantastic.
Go to Fraser island - you can see whales, dolphins, dingoes - and lots of sand.
I was only there for 2 weeks, but I'll be going back. soon.
the beer is crap though.

ooh, that Fraser Island sounds good

I plan on going all over the joint, definitely Sydney, Cairns, Melbourne and Ayer's Rock, and really anywhere else I can afford!
