    Friend of a my housemate was cycling down the NCR last week when a car pulled out in front of him. When he swerved to avoid it he fell off the bike and ended up in the road, cuts bruises etc.

    Three gardai were standing on the pavement nearby and did nothing, didnt get the cars number, didnt help him out of the road, nowt.

    So he came over to them and asked them why they hadnt helped, gave them a bit of grief cos he was hurt and ****ed off of course, at which point........

    Wait for it.....


    they arrested him for loitering.

    The mind boggles.

    Probably, he doesnt know if he wants to get involved in all that, I am recommending that he does. <unts shouldnt be allowed get away with that, I reckon.

    Wow. Actually last year I was in the rat infested town of Tralee for the Rose of Tralee festival (which people in this county actually take very, very seriously) and my brother and I were walking through a small shopping centre...cannot remember the name. Anyway, there is a couple humping up against a shop window and dig this, two Gardaí were watching from about 11 feet away.

    Some of the people in this country are eally ****ed up.
    If ye think its just the cities, here in our small town, the bouncers in the local clubs have sex with some of the customers. If the customer refuses, the bouncer will either a) beat the **** out of them or b) Tell the cops about them.

    So the pope puts down the Badger and leans over to me and says , " My son , sometimes you talk a lot of ****. Knock it off." Before I could speak in walks Christopher Lloyd with a time machine under his arm and just then...it started to get weird...

    I agree totally mike (On the shopfront thing), we pay our inordinate taxes and they don't even Video it .... I despair at the lost opportunities.... smile.gif
