Nice to see Stone back on the streets after serving 12 years of a 700 year sentence for three murders amongst other crimes.

Thats the one thing about the Belfast Agreement I dont like - all these killers being let out early, Loyalist and Republican.

Those guys should serve their sentences like other criminals.

I remember the incident in the graveyard, my husband remembers it even clearer since the canteen of the company which he had been seconded to for a short period of time overlooked the graveyard so all the staff including him witnessed the incident and he said it was horrific, people screaming and carrying members of their families who had been shot. He is insane and should not have been released. I remember him being interviewed on t.v. - just the pure evil in his eyes, uncaring, unfeeling, just starring straight at you. It was almost like he was psyching you out or intimidating the viewer.

Stone is living proof that there are too many wasted bullets in the world.

I find it hard to see the difference between a murderer and a 'political' murderer. I can see why they are being released - part of the agreement, and as 'political' prisoners they must get out - no exceptions - but if anything goes wrong there's an awful lot more dangerous people about.

In any case I just find it hard to believe that men like these will walk out of jail and not turn back to violence.

There are likely very few with any rational attachment to a cause - more an attachment to something which licenses them to kill.

Well there's the one bonus of him being an easier target out on the streets(acctually thats debatable too). This guy is a fu(kin animal....animals wouldn't do what he did.

He's got death threats by the uda and the uvf recently (as has Johnny Adair)and the republican factions won't be overly joyed at him either I expect. Wonder how long it'll be before things go pearshaped.

The likes of Stone and Adair won't be out of jail long. It isn't politics that drives them, it's innate violent, evil tendancies. Sadly, some other poor ba*tard is going to have to die in order for them to be sent down again, and keep them off the streets. Most of the prisoners released under this early release scheme will be back in within 10 years on non-"political" offences. Essentially, the early release scheme is just a handy way to create a large number of fresh victims on the streets of the North.

I think a physco-profile should be built on each of them when they are due for realse. if they are a danger to socitey , keep them in .... not one of them either orange or green said sorry most just said unbowed unbeaten .... A rse holes the lot of them.
ahh well there is not much left as was said earlyer on but wait for someone to die before the press and local authorities cop ( no pun) on to what is happening !!
