    Anyone know of anywhere except powercity that has some good offers. My telly's banjaxed and I can't see any of the xmas programmes!!!! :mad:

    I've said it before but I'll keep on saying it - Currys in Blanchardstown seem to have many good deals, and occassionally competent staff.

    I recently got a samsung flatscreen 21" in Currys for €199( 4:3 screen, not widescreen ). Nice looking TV and you can't go wrong at that price.

    Those Samsung look very nice. I'm in the same boat. Current TV (old 21") on the blink, in for repair, bill could be €70-140. Seems better to buy a new one for 199. In Argos they have a Wharfdale for 150 (I think). I might get a Big TV but no till the new year and then I'll probably save up for a LCD screen.
