eyebrows- to pluck ir not to pluck.. :D
how many guys and gals here do their brows? professionaly?
I was thinking of getting mine done in a salon... I've done them myself, but they have got out of shape...
I've seen people with just a thin line for brows and those who are 'eternally surprised'! scary

a thin line for eyebrows is just wrong

I don't get those really thin eyebrows, i think they look ridiculous. Normal eyebrows, not bushy or really thin, look best i reckon

YEah those thin ones look weird!looks like they are just drawn in with a pen or something! As long as they aint busy then its fine!

i have problems with mine as they are naturally very thin and light and dont have alot of hair. shaping them is difficult cause i have to pluck at what little hair i have, but if i leave them alone they grow totally uneven! its awful!

I've never touched mine but they're not that thick anyway. It sounds like the kind of thing you'd have to keep doing once you started so I wouldn't bother unless you're exceptionally hairy up there!

I pluck my own now but the last time I went to the beauticians the girl said that most places aren't waxing anymore because it caused wrinkles. My cousin gave me good advice which is to get them plucked professionally and you have to tell the girl exactly the shape you want or they take a lot off. So once you've had them done professionally, buy yourself a tweezers and just pluck the stray ones every day or so rather than waiting to let them grow back totally and pluck them all together which is very sore but just having to pluck the odd stray one now and then is easier and seems less painful.

Also, it is best to pluck after a shower coz then plucking your eyebrows will be virtually painless :)

Oh, I love a shapely eyebrow. I began plucking them tentatively when I was fifteen and and have had one or two "too thin" disasters, but all you need to do is launch an operation grow the brows back campaign and in a few months you're right as rain.

For weddings and special occasions, I have them waxed in a salon in Kilcock, and the chick there does a great job.

Although professionals do a better job than I can, I have to admit I love plucking them. Watching those little ba$tard black hairs come out and die is very satisfying. If I haven't plucked in a few weeks, I get a positive ITCH to do it.

Oh I could discuss eyebrows all day I could.

appartently a thicker brow makes you look younger. but a bushy brow makes you look like an escaped wilderbeast. a really thin brow makes you look like a drag queen.

probably best just to take a few off the edges to neaten up. Don't get shape happen *me says needing to take my own advise* neuro-praxis is right about operation grow back ... don't get pluck happy .. grow back looks nasty.
