    Not sure if this is the best place for this, but anyway:

    Recently stumbled across Fair Deal Trading and No Sweat Apparel - both sources of conscience-friendly union-made clothing. In particular, No Sweat have a range of Converse-style canvas trainers going for around 30 euro, for anyone who's interested. Which, as far as I know, is cheaper than the price Converse usually go for, at least from what I've seen in Cork shops.

    (In case you're wondering, I found out about it through reading an article encouraging me to give goats as ethical christmas presents. I thought it was all a pisstake, but apparently it's all the rage these days o_0)

    Theres another site www.adbusters.org that are selling ethical converse-style runners as well.
