Setanta have been awarded a 7 day broadcast licence from January.

Considering that it is included on the ntl package but does anyone know what shall happen with them on the SKy platform? The cost at the moment is ridiculous for it on sky.

If it remains pay per view on sky will it remain free on NTL ? If so how is this channel going to finance all the sports events that is has purchased (f1, scottish soccer etc)...

i wouldnt expect any changes on price with Sky

NTL on the other hand sent me some propaganda yesterday saying Setanta is available as a free bonus, so probably no change for that either

I doubt there will be an increase in price as I remember them offering a 12 month package price on Sky. Can hardly now look for extra money.

They were planning on going full time from January since they launched so I doubt there'll be any changes to pricing, etc.
