Well it was bound to happen
Reports are coming in of a brawl before RAW went live between Flair and Foley

    The story goes as follows:

WrestlingObserver.com has reported new details on the backstage fight between wrestling legends Mick Foley and Ric Flair. The fight transpired shortly before RAW and ultimately had no effect on Foley's decision to appear live on the show to plug the Middle Eastern tour, while also adding heat to the Hassan and Daivari characters.

Apparently, Ric Flair approached Foley and offered a handshake, a gesture which Mick declined. Foley then asked for an autographed copy of Ric Flair's book; Flair did not appreciate the remark and threw a punch at Foley. The punch did indeed land, but the two were broken up before the situation could escalate any further.

I'm kind of surprised with Foley though..usually he'd be above that sort of stuff. And I'm wondering what sort of heat he put on the Arab-American guys..he wouldn't be the kind of guy to put racist heat on them..

    Frem Wrestlezone.com
There are some rumors and thoughts that the entire Mick Foley/Ric Flair incident backstage at RAW could have been staged. There is thinking that this was just another ploy by the two men to add some intrigue into what is rumored as a Wrestlemania match between the two. However, others disagree and say the entire thing was legit.

Is that a mania quality match? It would have to be a hardcore match? Would Flair go for that?

It'd be very interesting, seeing as there has been legitimate heat between them. But Foley has said that he has no problem with Flair the wrestler at all, so a match isn't that unlikely..although Flair has got a problem with Foley the wrestler. Still, it'd be cool to see all the fans behidn Foley!

Why does it have to be a Hardcore match ?
Foley is capable of wrestling in a normal one...

It seems like there was more involved in the situation than was first reported:
