I feel bad, I've been lurking without contributing for ages. So due to my current poetical ineptness, I'll stick up a song lyric I've been working in. Regard it as a poem with an intensive rhythm scheme

Hatred, Ignorance, Apathy

Hatred - Nowhere to go
Ignorance - Nobody knows
Apathy - No one cares
Suicide - But I'm not that scared

The world is a cruel place to live
Accept it cause thats the way it is
You'll be hurt and you will cry
And eventually - You will die

Some cannot wait until their time
So they string themselves up with a washing line
he easy way out, the cowards escape
The way that I shall never take

Hatred - I'm on my own
Ignorance - I am alone
Apathy - My soul is numb
Suicide - But that time ain't come

If you open your eyes, there's a glimmer of hope
A better way out thatn a loop of rope
Care for others and they'll care for you
The love of a friend will see you through

It's better to live than it is to die
Look around you, and you'll see why
It's a life worth living, make no mistake
Life is the path that you're better to take

Hatred - Will tear you apart
Ignorance - Is a refined art
Apathy - It'll break your heart
Suicide - No

Not one of my best songs, but I like it because it's about a very strong feeling I have
