yeah taxis arounf where i live charge €63.50 for "soiling" the taxi was reading the fixed charges the other day

there's in theory a 75 euro official "Soiling" charge - never heard of anyone being asked to pay it.

€75 is the official soiling charge. TBH you can see their point, especially if it's a case of a drunken bum puking everywhere. The taxi needs to be valeted (tissue and febreeze will not get the smell of vomit out of upholstery) and the cars is off the road until it is, so it can end up being quite costly for the driver.

It was hiked quite severely after the union complained (rightfully) that IR£20 wasn't enough compensation for puking/pissing/****ting in someone's cab.
