dvdbargain.net is what you want! Auto-search any CDWow product and finds the cheapest of...15ish CDWows worldwide.

I have ordered through various international CD-WOW sites with no problems. They are all dealt with as if you ordered through the Irish site

Yeh me too and you can use the same email address and password on them all to see your account and how all orders are going.

There was some ****e about the HK site before, saying the products were liable for duty as the weren't sourced in the EU but thats all blown over now.

That is called Customs and Excise fees and it did not just affect the HK site. It affected all CD-WOW sites when you order over the personal import threshold. It is changed now because CD-WOW have devided a way to either pay the duty and it is included in the price or circumvent the importation of goods outside the EU.

I've used the international site at www.cd-wow.com for a long time now.
When you go to the checkout you have an option to select currency to pay in, and can pay by cc or laser (use 999 for security code on laser).
The www.cdwow.ie site is another rip off Ireland.
    I bought these since xmas.

They display in £, but I paid in €. Then I checked the price on their Irish site.

    £ cd-wow.com
    € cd-wow.com
    € cdwow.ie

    Joss Stone DVD
    7.99
    11.32
    12.99

    Swania Twain Gtst Hits-- 8.99
    12.74
    13.99

    Original American Sngb- 12.99
    18.40
    20.99

So the price on the .ie site is between €1.67 & €2.59 more expensive.

Not much excuse for that. Comes from the same place afaik.
Might be cheaper than the shops, but looks like they are just doing because they can.

    Giftgrub,

CD-WOW. HK are first class. Great fast delivery and unbeatable prices, who could ask for more, especially good for DVD's ;) Enjoy.

I've bought about 20 dvd's and 10 cd's from the hk site over the last 15 months - never had a problem. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, and their customer service is excellent too. Out of all of the cd's I've bought from them, only one had a cracked case. I emailed them, and they shipped me a new case, free of charge - that's what I call service.

CAn anyone find the link mentioned here please £2 OFF

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,575 ✭✭✭✭A Dub in Glasgo

It is not a £2 link. It is using a number of different CD-WOW sponsor promotions to gain £2 off. There was one on this very forum although it is bordering on fraud which is why that topic on the forum you posted looks like it will get chopped from their mods.
