www.svp.co.uk and www.bigpockets.co.uk are the most reasonable if you are buying in bulk (they charge shipping). Also best priced for dvd-r's

You can give www.ramtechnologies.ie a call they sell some of the best CDR and DVDR's on the market such as Taiyo Yuden and a variety of other brands.
They are also competitive on price.

    Good luck

The lowest price I stumbled across recently was for 100 Conmark CD-Rs at EUR 16.95. - Unfortunately that was not in Ireland, but from a German company.

    http://www.int.conradcom.de/scripts/wgate/ZCOP_IN/!?perform_special_action=Produktdetail&product_show_id=972685&p_page_to_display=fromoutside

Conrad International (www.conrad.com) is the largest German Electronics and Technology Retailer and on their much better German website (www.conrad.de) you can find nearly everything in the area of Electronics and Technology.

The prices are typically not bad, but are not necessarily the cheapest.

Conrad does deliver to Ireland (and if you are VAT registered - or know someone who is, you can even safe the VAT).

Delivery to Ireland is not cheap at EUR 15.75 but it is weight independent, so if you need some other goods as well or if you require a few hundred :D CD-Rs, it could still work out ok.

BTW: More good prices are here http://www.preistrend.de/21759K0Q9_CD-R_100er_Pack_Preisvergleich.html , but with many of them sending to Ireland increases the price quite significantly.

I am aware that this doesn't help you TOOOOO much, but at least it gives an idea what a GOOD bargain is. :p

Maplin's in Mary street in Dublin had them at lunchtime today.
Also Peats (of Parnell Street) had 100 for 29.99 as well.

    Maplin
    100x Verbatim 52 speed - €32.99
    100x TDK 52 speed - €29.99

    Dunnes Stores
    25x Memorax 52 speed - €6.79

They seem to be the best value around at the moment.
