    Hi there,

Does anyone know how to remove the network connection icon from the systray when not connected to a network?

I've a laptop with XP SP2 and it's not always connected to a network. The properties of the network connection only give the option for hiding/showing the icon when it IS connected to a network.
I've tried hiding it using the "Always Hide" option but when I start the machine it re-appears.
I can deactivate the connection, but this is annoying as every time I want to connect to a network I have to reactivate.

It really bugs me seeing it there...frown.gif
