Another program is already listening on the port #110

    Hi,
    I used mrpostman to download my yahoo, gmail and hotmail emails. only yahoo would work so as it kept asking for authentication for the other 2 even though the username and passwords were correct - yahoo worked. So i gave up on mrpostman and reverted back to web2pop which i had used a while back. I uninstalled mrpostman and removed the service entry for it. After I installed web2pop it tried to start for the first time and it came up with "Web2pop cannot be initialized. Another program is already listening on the port #110". when this message box comes up the program is still running in the background so I am able to change the port number that it listens to but every port number i pick it keeps comming up with the same message with the changed port number. I ran 'netstat -a' to see what ports are being listened to and it shows no entry for port 110.
