Thanks for the advice and are there any do's or donts like dodgy manufactuars(excuse spelling)

If you do buy Qtec (decent cases, look cool), make sure you don't use their provided power supply

Nightmare is the only appropriate word if one was to be precisely verbose

    That bad?
And what about Chieftan cases are there PSU's any good?

Oh, hell yeah, and then some. QTec PSUs are some of the worst out there.

PC World had these for €50 a while back, they're nothing amazing but for the price they're pretty decent.

Ive decided to get a Q-Tec Midi tower ATX TL-MD2 but how do i find out what motherboards fit itbecause i really dont like the idea of spending €50 on something that i wont be able to use.Ive got a SI K8N NEO FSR Mainboard S754 nForce3 250GB,SATA,GbLAN,ATX,Raid will this fit it? (all on komplett)

most 99% of cases are built to the ATX standard which means you're motherboard will fit in.

but for the sake of the kiddies out there don't use the power supply that will come with the qtec.

a 400w qtec blew up my near €1500 pc last year.

I have seen that case in the flesh so to speak. Not as bad as i thought it would be coming from qtech!

Overall not a bad case but not of the most sturdy build. The door is the cheap gammy kind on rails that is a pisser to get off and even bigger pisser to get back on and always warps on you the 3rd time you take it off the case!

The lad i know who has the case has noticed that some of rivets holding the window it to the door have fallen off after only having the case a month or two.

The coolmaster for €50 would be a lot better built tbh and probably last you longer.

May I advise any antec case. They rule :) Provided power supplies rule too

Avoid anything from q-tec like the plaque. Cheap badly build shoddy crap that's only fit for the bin, not your expenssive pc parts.

Just to add my €0.02, Yup antec are great and they have an excellent budget line with ample PSU's - the SLK / Solution series, which run between €60 and €100 - the combine aspects of the more expensive antec cases - eg. quiet computing, with a budget price.

Have had the SLK2650BQE for a while now and it is a great buy for the price.

/meh goes off to request commision from antec.
