    WHat PVR card do you use with your PC and how do you rate it?

    I've used several cards, my favourite being the Hauppage WinTV PVR 350. Without a doubt it provides the best quality of any of the cards I've used, and of those cards it's the most friendly to 3rd party software, Linux + MythTV included.

    Check out http://www.byopvr.com for reviews of cards/software or just to ask questions in their forums. It's run by 'Rampy' - who also has a boards.ie account (though how often he checks it/these forums I wouldn't like to guess! :D).

    A word of warning on the 350....it wont hardware decode DVD's (at least encrypted DVD's, which means everything you've ever bought or rented).
