simple really,

I've tried snorting vodka:

did it last week...good fun while it lasted. A teaspoon in each nostril. No ill effects [altho myself and a mate did drop 2 units of alcohol on the breath test thingy in the college bar.coincedence?!]
nostrils were as clear the next day tho

heard of taking vodka through the eye, but I have a thing about my eyes, so that rules it out.

anything else people have tried?

I know people who've taken vodka through their eyes. Apparently, it's a pleasant stingy sensation for a while and then it's total agony. They were of course, too drunk to feel much pain, but the next morning...

I've heard of vodka-soaked tampon up the ass in Scandanavian countries - to fool the breathalyzer - I've been unable to determine if this isn't complete sh1te however... or even if it takes place at all

nope as long as it can get into the blood stream it will have an affect on you. Once it gets to the blood it will be processed by the liver. Stuff like the vodka soaked tampon are just urban legend. And kaimera you know not to trust that poxy breathalyser.

most liquids can be adsorbed through most mucus membranes. eg: supositories etc. but pure alcohol is used to kill tooth nerves so something that strong without dilution would not be good.

I've heard of injecting Vodka - but that's probably urban myth cos it would kill off nerves and start blood clots all fun and games till you get a stroke and end up in a wheelchair.

BTW: nail varnish remover (acetone) is very nasty because if you spill some on your skin it will carry the colourings and other chemicals in it into your blood stream - should only be sold with a skill and crossbones orange warning symbol

Not sure how it fools the breathalyser since AFAIK it's the alcohol in your blood that gets transferred into your breath in your lungs , and besides it won't affect the blood test..

i've spoken to scandanavians who've confirmed the tampon thing (sweden has one of the highest prices for drink around). pretty much all the clever ways of ingesting booze cheaply came from somewhere in scandanavian countries.

that said i've spoken to others who are convinced it's an urban myth.

as for the snorting thing, you'll find that every now and again it can give you a nosebleed, so best not to do it too often.

i was talking to a girl who had once smuggled coke into a club and put it in her knickers, not taking into account that the package was made of paper, and that there might be moisture down there. short version is that she ended up off her tits on it, and cost her boyfriend of the time (a small time dealer) quite a bit of cash.

couldn't help but laugh, but again proof that stuff like that works.

had jelly and melon's, but they were gala & honeydew, but it's all good!

curious about the ice cubes though. I used to keep a bottle of citrus absolute in the freezer, and it was in there 6 months before it was all gone (i was mostly drinking out, so it only got brought out on special occasions) and although it was a bit syrupy, it never froze in all that time.

The natural freezing point for alcohol is a lot lower than that of water. For vodka, the freezing point is about -20 C, which is below the temperature of the average home freezer, so that's why your citrus Absolut didn't freeze.
