    Hi sorry im new here! just a poor student :) & very curious.
    ive been told that by using meta tags i can make it so when someone types in say www.studentrumoursIreland.com itd bring me to my website on a free host provider.. is this true?? i didnt think it was but itd be great if it is! if so how would i do it?? thanks for any advice comments.

    It's kind of true.
    Search engines do use meta tags when they index sites but they also use a variety of other methods for figuring out what your site is about and how important it is (e.g. how many sites link directly to your site and how important are they?)

    So it's no harm to put in some meta keywords, read up on it here:
