    Yep that ref was the worst I have ever seen. He shouldn't even be in charge of a Sunday league game.

    On saying that the Croats should have buried us in normal time. WTF was McCarthy doing with that team selection, I mean I was embarressed watching that twenty-something Croat attacks to around what 3 Irish with no shots on the Croat goal ffs. You never,never,never play for a draw. We better maul Malta on Wednesday.

    Tho it is true that there wasnt five minutes of injury time, I beleive the ref can now add time for timewasting, which we were doing a fair bit of in the second half.

    Plus as has been quite rightly pointed out, there's nothing stopping US scoring in the five minutes of extra time, is there??

    Wait, there is, actually, CASCARINO UP FRONT ON HIS OWN I MEAN WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry must try and relax, that was an inept choice if I ever saw one.

    Sure Ireland deserved to loose with that performance. I've seen Juventus have more problems getting shot on goal againt really crap teams who decided to go full-on defence. All Ireland did was try to block Croatia's shots, and then pass the ball back to the Croats defenders...if they could manage to kick the ball that far...

    Well I'd have to heartily agree that the Croats deserved to win the game. I thought it was embarassing to watch the game and felt shame that these were the players representing our country. One moment from the match that really stuck out was towards the last 15 mins when Kevin Kilbane was away on the right flank near the Croats penalty area and the fu<king tosser just walks the ball over the sdieline on purpose.
    We didn't try to break them down at all ! I know the gameplan was defensive but Croatia are always gonna score against us in defensive mode.
    That was still some blow when Suker stuck the ball in the back of the net though, I nearly smashed the TV. And those poxy ba$terds on TV3 then trying to cheers things up ....
    The outcome of Group Eight will only be known on the last day of qualifiers 10th October.
