    McCarthy was thinking about playing only one upfront anyway. But you do really need a fast striker there to make any sort of impact on the defence, and to get behind them. Does anyone know if Keith O'Neill is still injured? He must be the most fragile player around. Out for a week because he broke a toenail. But as Dunphy said, Rory DeLap could be put in the forward line.

    I mean, a win would be great but I'd say hes going over there looking for a draw. We should beat Malta which would mean that we would have the same amount of points as Croatia with a game in hand.

    Going back to the match though, there was a ****ing amazing atmosphere suring that game. Could we be coming back into the worlds elite? Germany have gone to **** recently, so there needs to be someone to take their place!
