We are heading over to Saalbach in Austria next year on a ski trip and have two choices of hotels to stay in.... Hotel Bauer or Hotel Panther

The Panther I was told is more central, but am wondering which one is best overall, so if anyone has been there lets know what you think good or bad

I've not been there myself yet but an aquaintence was there for a season. He said the skiing was brilliant and pretty much all types are catered for. He raved on about all the off-piste oppurtunities too. As for accomodation I don't know but if both of them are in the town/village then either is ok. Otherwise i'd go for the more central one. The only problem with a place not in the town would be coming home from pubs or clubs late at night. Taxis will work out quite expensive if you have to get them every night.
