Why do we have to put up with sh!t commentry??????

    I mean for christ sake, I thought George "The MAN" Hamilton and Jim Beglin were bad, but now we have to put up with these new gobsh!tes on TV3 for all the away games. Who the fook is the main commentator? From what I've heard hes from Limerick and he just sounds like a fu Cking dope putting on an english accent trying to sound like Motty or Barry Davids. And as for, ehhhhh,ehhhhhhhh, Frank "Mumbles" Stapleton, he was a great footballer but he just cant speak properly. TV3 have put together some commentry team there.

    I have to say though that there panel is quite good. Although Paul McGrath is not used to being in the limelight and from the matches that I've seen him on he looks like he'd rather be else where. And as for Mark Lawrenson, I have to say he really ****es me off. Especially since on either Match of the Day or Football Focus, Gary Lineker was talking about the English football team, and Lawro said "we" when refering to the English team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Ah now, slagging George 'Oh, DANGER HERE!!!!!' Hamilton, and Frank 'Thickest Bloke in History' Stapleton, wha??? smile.gif

    Lawrenson really gets on my tits as well, he comes across as a plank on Match of the Day, and that picture they use of him in the Irish Times when he pontificates on Ireland's chances in such & such a match is actually quite terrifying. His moustache looks like its about to jump off and ate ya smile.gif

    Channel5 in the UK take the biscuit for crap commentators - Jonathan SomethingorAnother during the Chelsea-Tromso game in last seasons Cup Winners Cup screaming 'COME ON CHELSEA, GET SOME JUSTICE!!!!!!!' when they were 3-0 down. Nice and impartial smile.gif

    Nah, I think the channel 5 bloke is kewl. Well, not really but he endevors to bring a kind of Brazilian-esq flavour to football, ehhhhh, in English.
    We are talking about the lad that did the commentry for that Sugar Puffs ad?
