    Your brother was trying to download AIM Buddy Icons. You have to have AIM installed (or at least an AIM compatible IM system like Trillian) for the protocol to work. I'm guessing you don't.

    No fault of Firefox.

    Sounds like the spreadfirfox.com website was just temporarily down, its up now, are you still getting this message when you try to connect to it?

    Whilst on the subject of Firefox it doesnt seem to allow me to copy and past certain things into certain forums?any reason as to why this is?

    Like what and where?

    Certain forums like pro boards ones will nit allow me to copy and paste some things into it,occasionaly it does,then again it doesnt.never had that trouble with IE,although overall Firefox is a lot better...
