My Alternative Life

Growin’ up in that housing estate,
I knew every inch of my fate,
Drinkin’ cider in a field, off your head on the weed,
Thinkin’ that you’re Bob Marley, with a bag full of Charlie,
Drivin’ cars that’s not yours, your mates or your birds,
Takin’ junk with punks, sellin’ hash for cash,
Getting barred from bars, for a fight that night,
The Judge then givin’ me an awful fright,
10 years in the Joy! Not for this boy,
I’ll be out in three, yeah, you’ll see,
I’ll be back dealin’ e’s as soon as you please,
Or speed if you need, smoke if you toke,
Coke for the Blokes, Skag for the Hags,
‘Cos I can’t be good, I would if I could,
I’d change me ways but this way pays,
But I’ve done the crime and I’ll serve me time,
With your honours leniency.

A Dublin accent works well while reading this.
