    Hi,

I wonder if anyone could tell me what the cost of having a tooth pulled is in Dublin. It's been years since I've been to a dentist. Which leads me to my second question, does anyone know a decent (not too expensive) they would recommend to me.

    Thanks.

It cost me 60 yoyo to have 4 extractions recently - they were not full teeth, only broken roots, but I don't think it would make any difference to the cost, as the procedure is the same. That was over 4 visits. I am fully covered by my PRSI contributions.

Also, you can claim tax relief for pretty much all dental work. Download the med1 and med2 forms from www.revenue.ie

With PRSI contributions it should be no more than a score a tooth..

You might want to say where you're located.

Has anyone been to the dentist in the Blanchardstown centre? Any good? How much does he charge?

I did in my first post but just to clarify, I am in Dublin. I don't really care where abouts in Dublin they are, I will travel. I would appreciate any recommendations.

    Thanks.

There's a good one in Fairview, can't remember the name. It cost me €12 for an extraction about a year ago.
