Luc you had to register with U2.com, they sent you a password to allow you purchase from Ticketmaster in the pre-sale @ 10am today. Ticketmasters site bombed out on me when I confirmed the order so I didn't think it went thru but I then got that magic email. Was trying to ring them since 10.30 this morning and always got an engaged tone. God help people trying this on Saturday.

Congrats Paul - I got told this morning at some daft hour like half 8 that I can get any number of tickets I like from a friend of the families. Now I don't hold much stock in this, but I couldn't retrieve my email (damn you to hell Eircom webmail pants) and I didn't have a password to go and buy.

I told this family friend to get me 2 tickets and see what happens...

Roll on the Chilli Peppers!!!

I've been ringing Zhivago in Galway since 6.55 and got through 4 times, but the Phucking thing rang out!!!??? NO-ONE PICKED UP THE PHONE!!!!

I doubt that all the tickets are sold out for this yet. They have sold out the amount allocated for today and I can see them "finding" more sometime before the concert to try and counteract the touts.

As for trying to order them after my experience on Thursday with the pre-sale I knew that ticketmasters online system couldn't handle the obvious interest for these tickets.

I reckon you'll start seeing inflated prices popping up all over the place now for Slane tickets.

I left home 12 pm got to dun laoighre "Music City" 12 : 30 am. qued for 3 hours before it started raining at about 4 am it was lashing with me standing in a T-shirt and a light jacket soaked to my skin , baggy jeans now skin tight , no smokes left about 3 : 30 . Some Big ****ing bald lad was getting really pist off called the cops after starting many a fight at 2 - 4 am and also chucked bottles one at meh head , then qued ..... hits 7 : 03 on meh watch exzactly doors open q moves about 4 meters .... stops for 20 min ... moves half a meter ... i was close to the door now ... moved again 5 people ahead of me stops for another 10 min .... my friend 3 people ahead of me got the response sorry just sold out 1 min ago in rathmines or sumthin cant remember so ... no ticket for me after 8 hours quing and about 20 people who skiped the q ahead of me up the front got there something shud have been done about that if just 5 people didnt skip i wuda had a ticket , my m8 small lad was behind me managed to crawl on ground to top and got 20 or so in the q , then i worked for 12 hours after that what a load of bull **** , **** them!
