Hi, hopefully someone can advise me here. I am installing a new induction hob replacing an old ceramic hob. Electical connection is shut off at the fuse board. The old hob connects from the kitchen cooker switch. See photo - old wiring, 3 wire, live earth, neutral. There is a further wire cable going onwards to the cooker under the hob.

When I opened the new Hob there are 5 wires on a flex - see photo "hob flex". Also attaching photos of the labels on the flex. What I want to know is whether is ahould take off this new flex completely and connect the old wiring from the switch. I have now way to access the switch without breaking tiling which I don't want to do.

I have asked an electrician for advice but still waiting for a response. Thanks.
