Views on Agricultural Schemes

Hi all,

I'm Kamsi, A student in Carlow.

I’m currently working on a project looking at how farmers experience agricultural schemes in practice — particularly around choosing schemes, applying, and dealing with the ongoing paperwork and admin.

Gone through alot of theads on here to know more ("Taking a BISS" is one of my best)

I’ve put together a short, anonymous Google Form to gather real experiences from farmers. It takes about 5 minutes to complete, and there’s no sign-in required.

The goal is simply to better understand what actually works well and what causes frustration from a farmer’s point of view.

• This isn’t connected to the Department or any scheme provider.
• This is for an independent project, not marketing or sales.
• No personal or farm-identifying data is collected.

Just trying to ensure I graduate and see if I can help while at it ^_^

I don't mind helping anyone with an anonymous survey but your one isn't as it collects my email which is a required field.

I have previously used comment below on threads about other agri related matters and agri schemes. It fits in nicely here aswell. "I think farming these days is creating a lot of full time jobs for others in auditing, overseeing various schemes, even though the farmer is likely to be part time"

But it does not collect the emails is what I am trying to explain, I have to make sure of that as the school regulations state that the surveys must be anonymous

Definitely, I had a chat with a farmer some weeks back and we analyzed how much agriculture influences the job market here, down to the truck driver that conveys produce to Aldi
