Does ryanair still have the corporate 737-700 in 2x2 configuration for charters?

Last I heard it had gone to Poland for Buzz/Ryanair Sun.

Presume it's fitted in regular 3x3 seats now then?

According to this article, it was only in a 2x2 configuration for a couple of months before being put back to a normal 3x3 configuration.

It's been with Buzz since mid 2023.

It was EI-SEV and operated regular services out of Dublin. I had it on one such flight before. As mentioned it didn’t really operate many corporate flights.

They used it for pilot training for years. It is, as mentioned based in Poland now.

It actually came to Dublin again on a regular service from Poland as SP-RUM at least once.

The odd child of the fleet!

Is it still 2-2 or is it now 3-3?

Just curious if you can charter it still or do you get stuck with a usual 3-3?

It’s been in 3-3 for very many years. Don’t know how long it was in 2 2. It never did any scheduled service as 2 2.

Basically the same as an 800 but with a few less seats.

Ryanair operating a single 737-700 is like a family of identical greyhounds keeping one stubborn terrier. Surrounded by an army of shiny 738s, this lone jet is the problem child. Shorter, older, and quietly awkward. It eats different meals, needs special attention, and makes the engineers sigh when its name pops up on the roster. It still does the job, still flies the route, but everyone knows it is the runt of the litter. Loved, tolerated, and slightly embarrassing, but never allowed to forget it is not like the others.
