Textile or Jeans Which Do You Prefer ?

I'm looking to get a new biking jeans because mine is too tight in the legs due to the protective layer, I made the mistake of getting tapered instead of Straight and it's a workout getting my legs in and the jeans over the boots.

I've tried textile trousers and they are incredibly bulky and stiff I can hardly get my leg over the bike with them.

I was wondering is there any textile trousers out there that doesn't look and feel like you're in a space suit ? I was thinking if I could get decent fitting textile trousers with liner for winter and then with vents I could also use in Summer.

i used to wear textile bottoms, now i just wear the jeans. I bought mine in XLm0to in Germany, i bought two pairs. Upgraded the armour. they have been flawless for three years, zipper finish etc, they are AA rated , main brands are AAA. Zee germin ones also have aramid lining, they are warm, great fit and stretchy. 60e how could you go wrong. i even went abroad to spain on the bike with them, i wear commuting etc. ive a 400e pair of alpinestars bottoms sitting in the wardrobe not used :~( you'll need braces for them , more safer for staying on.

Have you a link to the German brand jeans ?

My current jeans is RST and I find them pretty close to the size I normally wear where as textile stuff tends to need to size up one or two sizes.

The RST jeans I have has a liner in it and it makes it much warmer than regular jeans but that also means tighter fit and doesn't help that I ordered the tapered fit.

The RST are expensive.

they have different style cuts of these jeans for sale, and they are lined on top half. the fact the germans are allowed sell that , means they wont fall apart, look at the reviews. if you dont like them xl have a no quibble returns policy. i bought the "rocker" cut, they have other styles too. Herself got a pair as well, thinks they are great.

I prefer jeans. They tend to dry faster because they are leather.
